Eric is originally from Elgin, IL, a suburb of Chicago. As a child, he attended the Shorey Preparatory for Performing Arts...which is just a fancy way of saying that he was homeschooled. His first venture into the spotlight came at age 6 when he starred in a thrilling basement production of Peter Pan (the Mary Martin version). Eric’s parents decided to let his creativity outside of the house and into the community.  Several years were spent honing his performance and musicianship through piano lessons, dance classes, and in children’s and community theatre. His passion for theatre grew exponentially and he realized that performing was the only career path he could take.
